Issues with 1.20 firmware
« on: October 10, 2008, 09:09:24 AM »

Various applications are delayed access to the internet with 1.20 that had no problem with 1.11 or 1.10 firmware. For example, when I launch steam and the main menu apppears the content in the menu browser does not appear for 30 seconds and sometimes up to a minute. All I see is a big white background until the content appears. With 1.11 or 1.10 firmware the content is there as soon as the menu appears.

I have tried various virtual server, port forwarding setting and even the DMZ but nothing affects this issue except reverting back to 1.11 firmware. With 1.11 firmware I have no issues at all even with default router setting.

Edit: wanted to add my OS is XP SP3

Update to 1.21. And if that also gives problems go back to 1.11.

If it aint broke, don't fix it. The enhancements are not thát big a deal.

1.20 and 1.21 are basically the same code from what I understand. Tried 1.21 but same problem as 1.20 so back to 1.11 for now.
