Problems with DWL 3200 ap rev b latestest firmware

I bought this ap and I have a small business 3 poweredge servers one laptop. I am on a comcast business class service. I have set up the ap with a static ip on the same subnet as my other machines and configured the ap for dhcp. The ap will let my laptop on but it kicks it off. My laptop is windows 7 internal wireless nic. It works nicely but it kicks it off. Is there a way to make the ip lease time to never expire? I was having problems with it giving an ip to my laptop until i checked the status box, then it let on, but keeps dropping. please help!!!
