Does anyone know if  there is a way to launch\open and log into AjaXplorer on DNS-320 just by typing some address in web browser ?

AjaXplorer would be great for viewing photos and allowing friends to browse them over internet if there is only a direct link to it. 

Launching AjaXplorer via DNS management interface it's really inconvenient, don't mention that friends are gaining access to your other applications. Therefore in my opinion it is useless for that purpose in that way

Is that link "http://yourNASip/ajaxplorer/ " works in your case ?

I got redirected to "http://yourNASip/"  and NAS web interface login, and after that NAS web interface, just like after typing "http://yourNASip"

IMO, I disagreed that Ajaxplorer is a useless feature, it allow remote user access to NAS local file without the need for additional client software.

As to TS answer, it's possible but need to install your own copy of Ajaxplorer or other PHP apps.

e.g. typing http:\\NasPublicAddress_or_DynDNS:port?\ajaxplorer ?

Because otherwise I don't catch the necessity of this web interface (Ajax)...

Login authentication is required before one is able to launch AjaXplorer apps.

The workaround is to install your own copy using the built-in web server.

In the current implementation ajax is totally useless as you need to login in the NAS using login interface. Add fun_plug and install your own ajax or other application. (thanks to fun_plug)

Just move to http://nas-tweaks.net/ , you'll find everything on how to install fun_plug and how to get deamon/packages.
For the rest, you need to know how to use a linux OS ( you can find a lot of how to , google is your best friend  )

Do read probably, I'm not referring to fun-plug but AjaXplorer apps which is what this topic is all about.

To use an ajax  that is not linked to the original firmware you need to install fun_plug , then get ajax packages . After that it's up to you to manage it .
Or, just get the Open source firmware (on D-link FTP server)and rescript all (but it's harder)

With an ajax fun_plug version you can create a real ajax server , which means that people can acces ajax directly (not using the DNS-320 login page)

No disrespect but apparently you have not setup AjaXplorer on this NAS before.

I installed it on my previous D-link NAS (a 323 that died) , as i wasn't satisfied with ajaxplorer i decided not to install it on my new 320 .

step :

install fun_mod
install lighttpd with PHP
Put last version of ajaxplorer in /ffp/opt/srv/www/pages/Xplorer.
run installation in lighttpd

So I was right, anyway there is no need to even install another web server since this NAS already has what you mentioned by default.
