Yea, well I doabt it's going to work under 443, unless they are using HTTP to transmit the data. I think AIM usually uses TCP on port 5190. Atleast that is the one registered to them. But, I agree with Furry, need more input.
BTW, Have you thought of a different client? Pidgin is mighty nice. Loads 10times quicker and no adds. Works with all known systems. AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Gmail, etc.
