Yes, I am still using it as an AP, the only complaint is after changing a setting, if you do not power it down for 30 seconds, it will crash in a day or two. The DIR-825 is the router/firewall for the whole house, but WiFi is turned off.

Set up in "N" mode only, full power, 40Mhz channel, WPA2, MAC filtering and everywhere on the property is covered. What used to be 65Mbps at 15 feet is now 65Mbps at 15 yards and through several walls! On the clients that will do 130Mbps, it starts slowing down pretty quick after 15 yards. Still, 58Mbps is better then the 5Mbps was with the old 54G equipment(if you had any connection at all at 50-60 feet). :) :) :)
