Wish we could verify this 825..I need to load up BF2 on my xbox and check it. Been playing MW2, Halo and Black ops mostly. Last time I played BF2 was about 3 months ago on the 4500.

wonder if there is any external interference going on too there.

I was thinking the same thing. You should give it a try and see what happens.

Will tomorrow for sure and see. Interesting that just this game on PS is giving you problems. You still have the 825?

Hi Guys,

I'm jumping in late but the subject attracted my attention as I have a DIR-825 and play a lot of Battefield BC2 on my PC.

A few months ago I updated the firmware from 2.02 to 2.05 and I was quite happy with all the bug fixes BUT the EA servers would now kick me after 1 or 2 minutes of online game play. I Couldn't find a fix so I had to revert to firmware 2.02

usmarine0622  ... What version was the firmware on your DIR-825?

FurryNutz ... Your sig says your running firmware 2.03 and I assume that is working okay for your DIR-825 for BC2 and the EA servers?

My dilemma is I need to be able to filter MAC addresses on my home LAN but it v2.02 only allows MAC addresses starting with "00:" and of course all the newer ipods, laptops, smart phones etc start with MAC addresses like "cc:" etc.

Firmware 2.05 fixed all that but broke BC2 with the EA servers for some reason. I get stubborn about trying to find a fix but at this point I may just have to switch to non DLink router.

Cheers.
