Hi everybody!
First I would like to say that I'm sorry if there is any other post with the same problem, but I truly search for it, and I couldn't find it.
The problem that I'm having is basically that my router isn't giving right ip addresses to my devices. I've tried to connect a wireless printer (HP for doubts) and the router gave a 169.254.XXX.XXX ip address to it. If I unplug/plug the router, the problem is solved. It can also be fixed by using the "reboot device" tool that the router has at the configuration page. But this only works for some hours, so it isn't
Now, it isn't a printer problem. It has also happened with some notebooks, with around 5 to 6, not all of them.
I've tried changing channels, resetting the router, changing password, security password type, changing firmware (present is 3.11NA H/W C2), and nothing can fix it.
Please help!, I've been dealing with this for over a year.
Thanks!.
