Help Please

My computer Internet cuts off every 24 hour and i have to turn off my modem and reconnect them together...I dont know what to do is it the 4500 or my computer because this didnt hapen to me when i had a linksys

Update to v1.23 and see if this helps. V1.21 did have hangs on SOME routers, not all. Let us know if it works.
Do the following.
Factory reset first.
Update using the .bin file you get from the unpacked zip file from the DLINK web site for the 4500.
Facotory reset once more.

Mhmm, FurryNutz you are quick on the reply or is it that I am slow? Any who coming from the man that does not recommend people to update before troubleshooting, what happened? have you fallen to the 704 ways? Tee Hee! I keed.

Well if he is looking at the firmware release notes and see something like a DHCP patch, it might not be a bad idea. But generally, if your having to powercyle the modem, and not just the router, its not just the router. Trust me, I know. :-)

What kind of modem do you have? I can show you how to check your logs.

Thats a phone/internet combo modem. When you lose the internet, do you lose the phone for a bit? If so call your ISP. If not, call them anyway and ask them how the signal levels to your modem look. Sounds like some T3's causing some connectivity issue.
