I'm wondering if you see the same results that I do. I've noticed that if both my Xbox's are online playing in a party (same lobby, same team), that one of my Xbox's will always be laggy, while the other is in God-mode. The Xbox that's laggy changes, but about 90% of the time, it's the newer Xbox Slim. Both are hard-wired, both have equal priority in the GameFuel. Doesn't matter what game it is either, at least from the games we play together (mostly FPS's), such as COD, Battlefield, Halo, etc.

Since I know it will be asked, yes, I've followed the sticky & my firmware is 1.23NA.

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this. I've been all thru the router settings. Nothing in there should be holding it back. What I'm really afraid of is a bad network drop The last thing I want to do is start climbing in the attic and digging in walls.

well if one xbox is working and the other isn't...might be setting or possible cable. Try swapping out cables.
I recommend CAT6 for all devices and shortest length between modem and router as possible. I use a 1 footer however i know not everyone can do that.

That's the weird thing. Both Xbox's work & both have open NAT. Nothing wrong there. In fact, the only issue is when both Xboxes are being played in the same lobby/party. Then one of them lags noticeably. Otherwise, they're fine. For instance, if I'm playing Battlefield BC2 and my son is play Black Ops, we're both dropping guys like its nothing, but if we're partied up in a match, one of us is nothing but a target for the opponents.

hmmm...interesting...i know when I play at my buddies house, he's got my old 4500 and one xbox is wireless and I think the other is wired and we play well...hmmm. Shouldn't be any lag at all, only see some lag from the services or other users on the game network.

One thing you could do, either swap the cables for each xbox or move the xboxes and see if the problem tracks...might help narrow down the problem.

Well there are some differences with the chips of the Xbox 360 vs Xbox 360 S(Slim). I couldn't find anything that specifically said the NIC changed, but Microsoft keeps that pretty hush hush. I did find this link of a break down of the 360 S. Check it out.

Well my Speed is 55Mb down, 8Mb up. My capacity (which I set upload QoS to) is 32Mb down, 6Mb up. Why do you ask?

Oh that is plenty, just checking to see if you have enough bandwith to run more than one xbox and you do, so that is not the problem

Yeah I used to play on VDSL, 12meg up and 896 kbps down 40ms ping and playing Black ops with just two Xbox's, one of us would lag real bad.  Both Xbox's had open NAT's too.

Did you have the 4500 too on this DSL?

No I had a VDSL all in one router, Actiontec Q1000. (Gigabit Ethernet 4 Port Router)
