firmware update anyday now.......
« on: August 30, 2011, 02:51:10 PM »

Ive been checking everyday for a firmware release to fix the following issues

P2p exposed when ftp is enable
P2p exposed regardless in web interface
Unable to edit p2p folder directory permissions
Must reconnect Ethernet cable on dns 320/ 325 to show in network after a router reboot.

Anyway its 8/30/2011

Still no firmware updates, does anyone agree it should take d link this long to release a firmware update?

Also if you update to the beta firmware you are no longer able to edit users what so ever....

so i would just stay with firmware 2.0 and live without ftp options till they get off their lazzy but and fix it.

hi finalturmiso, I have seen your posts and I have realised that 2.01BETA is crap.... sync centre doesn't work but it fixes my FTP issues I had with 2.0..... 2.0.1 seems to be slower in read/writes as well. I also get weird permissions errors with 2.01 and NFS doesnt seem to work

From the traffic on this board, the latest firmware appears to fix some things and regress in other areas - that much is clear.

In addition to individual discussion, I believe the best course of action is to collect everyone's comments in the Firmware Wishlist thread so D-Link has everyone's comments in one place: forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41109.0.
