Performing a factory reset (using the reset button on the rear of the device) should only reset the firmware to the default settings (removing any potentially conflicting/corrupt settings) and should not impact your stored data or HDD configuration. After you perform the factory reset, re-upload the current firmware version you are running and upload your configuration settings (from the saved file).

I already tried this manipulation. When I upload the configuration file, I get the same error as in the video.
So I have to reconfigure everything manually.
I do not know what to do ...

I know where the problem originates.
I formatted my NAS as advised.
I reinstalled squeeze and I noticed that it was this that caused the problem.
Indeed, just change the file name "fun_plug" (eg "fun_plug.debian") and after reboot we find sharing settings.
So this is a bug in the 1.02 update as above, for exmple with the 1.01 there was no problem.

Did reinstalling SqueezeCenter fix this issue or is the file renaming still necessary?

I talk about debian squeeze, the operating system available on the dlink ftp:
ftp://ftp.dlink.pl/dns/dns-320/driver_software/DNS-320&325_linuxDebian_revA_Squeeze_all_en_20110111.zip
Sharing settings available in the configuration interface of the NAS will not work when starting squeeze on NAS.
In précentes firmware version it worked perfectly

That MKV files are supported as a valid stream file format for samsung smart tv's.

I'd love to see support for other filesystems. EXT3 is okay, but it's archaic and recovery of data by far the best. I'd love to see more modern filesystem support. ReiserFS, maybe even XFS. Something that is a little more resilient and suited to today's usage. Especially since these are treated as "storage" drives.

I just lost 1.5 TB of content and am now simply paranoid. While RAID1 helps a lot, I'd also like to have a filesystem that compliments it.

Unfortunately, this wishlist is for suggestions primarily impacting the firmware. Altering something as fundamental as the filesystem extends well beyond firmware and would impact the entire ShareCenter line (which universally relies on EXT2/EXT3).
