OK!! It is supported. Infact the SB5100 and the SB6120 both get a 1/3 certification star. The SB6121 gets a 3/3 certification star. WOOTNESS!!!

Here is the device list that is supported with Comcast: http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/

Figured people would like to know this as well.

I also see there are 2 models for the SB6120 that you have Furry. the SB6120 and the SB6120-Retail. Looks like the retail is the only one that uses IPV6 which is odd. being that the SB6120 and the SB6121 both state to use IPV6

LOL your too funny man.

Ya, I didn't even know there are different models now. I don't see the 6121 on the Motorola site:
http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/US-EN/Consumer-Product-and-Services/Cable-Modems-and-Gateways

Makes me wonder if someone isn't updating there web site..

I guess my ISP supports the 6121:
http://help.cableone.net/HSD/Modem/Certified.aspx

Hmmm, I might hae to get one if there is a difference between the 20 and 21. Harry?  ???

LOL You r the 1 that is funny... Good choice. Also I rechecked my speeds a minute ago and WAAAAYYY better. I also checked my Cable modem log and found about 35 T3 errors so i called comcast and they will be out on saturday. Told them i wanted a line tech to come out. Comcast doesn't do anything about T3 errors unless you have more than 10 in a day.

In short? Ignore it.

In long (From a DOCSIS Support site)
This means that the modems are going BPI but not BPI+. due to the fact you are using a common config file for mutli-vendor modems. The CVC file for each modem is not included in the file. It's generally harmless, but annoying as it fills up the log.

Basically, the 6121 used the same firmware and config file as the 6120. Thats because besides the casing and a couple other superficial differences, the SB6120 and the SB6121 are the same. Thats why I chuckled when your ISP rated the 6121 higher. Could be the 6121 has the most up to date firmware by default, but that would likly load on the 6120 automatically after a day or two.

As for your question on latency, no, a amp isn't going to help. As long as your signal levels are in spec, a amp is just going to make it worst. But I could talk all day on latency. Its one of those things that has been sooooo simplied and dumbed down (WOW and MW2 I am looking at you) that people trash talk their modem/router/PC/ISP/game server/etc without really knowing what they are talking about. LOL I can give you some tips to help with it if you want though. A good portion of it will be out of your control though.

I moved from Minnesota, to which I was always the host in MW2. I move down to New Mexico, and instead of having 4 bars I now get 3 and no host.

FURRY- I am up and running my friend. Here are my new results: http://www.speedtest.net/result/1509325207.png

before I was getting 18.5 now its 31/5 I think I will be happy. I will let you know what MW2 shows.

Kewl beans man...well I should have waited for Harrys advise before purchasing, however this might be a good test between the 6120 and 6121 and see what and if there is any differences. Will be good information for others. Keep us posted man.
