uplink rate is relatively resolved now it seems. 200k-384k uplink rate, i can live with 200k+ uplink. 2 days of near flawless operation and heavy usage etc.
Problem now is back to terribly downlink rates regardless of rebooting device, computer, main internet device etc. Just kinda went ca-plop on the downlink.
My first assumption is that the down problem was still related to to many connections not releasing and hogging up the router etc. like before. Where i get thrown off though is since i've rebooted the router, computer, restored factory defaults to router, hard reset it, power cycled it etc. and still cant seem to get decent down speeds.
for 2 days of heavy usage it maintained 1.5mbps down 384k up. Now typical is 400-500k down 200k+ up (up is satisfactory cant have a perfect world im finding out) best downlink rate i've achieved is 800k which is only 50% bandwidth.
UPnP or multicast stream settings mean anything? MTU set at 1500 in router and windows. (never ever messed with it and my nets always been fine prior)
