D-Link is making refinements based on user feedback. Please be patient.

As Cable2 says the background is abysmal - too dark with not enough contrast for the words.  It is very trying on old eyes that have been at work for 12 hours or more.  Plus, as I said over on the DNS-320 forum, why change the clean, clear, easy to read forum for something that is dull, dark and hard to read?

If it must be changer why not use something like the forums over on OS2 World which also uses SMS 2.0.8?

The dark background with light type face is really terrible and much harder on the eyes.  I prefer the older method and it was easier to detect  new posts.  How exactly is this new format supposed to be better?  Who was so powerful that they could decide without user input that this is better?   It sucks and so does the process by which it was done.

Agree 100%.  Excellent points.  This change is reminiscent of the silly mistakes d-link software developers make when they supposedly enhance the software.

This new forum GUI is a downgrade.

Users should take un-modified screen captures and take pictures with a camera or phone and post there samples of what they are seeing so we can get a better idea of what users are seeing please.
 Adding Screenshots In A Post

Thank you.

As a newbe I find it very difficult to find my own devices.
Like for instance: D-Link Connected Home. It's nice to know, but I don't have it. So I change the arrow to upwards.  :)
I do the same with a great deal of the other (sub)forums.  So far it is OK.

Then I get to Sharecenter Network Storage.  I have a 327L and NONE of the other 9 products. So I'm not interested in them (at this moment.)
Nor am I interested in all the new updates, like DGL-5500  ???

I have not found a way to filter all this information.

And why is DIR-845L consequently moved to DIR-850L

This is how the forum SW works.
You can open or close categories or section that your not interested in. However the ones you are interested in, will list the additional products for that section.

You could just have tabbed browsing enabled and have a tab for each forum thread that your interested on each tab in the browser. Thats how I use my browser here in the forums.

The 845L is similar to the 850L in features so no real need for a separate thread and limited posters and limited market. It's not sold here in the NA region.

Thank you for your feed back.

Is there any hope for change here? Along with Ivan and cable2, I find this color scheme abysmal. I looked at the possible themes, but apparently users cannot choose. I tried Chrome's "High Contrast" app for color reversal, but that makes it even worse.
I used to like to participate in these forums - now, it's painful to my old eyes.

If you really think our theme is that bad, take a look at Linksys's new theme:
http://community.linksys.com/t5/Wireless-Routers/Linksys-Community-Update-Completed/td-p/932425

Light gray text on a stark white back ground!! Really?!?  ::)

Will try and make some adjustments so that the thread colors look better.

Thank you.

Absolutely!   These forums would be profoundly easier to read if the background were light to white, and the fonts dark.  Thank you.
