Hi folks, I have a DNS-320 in a wired network along with a Panasonic DMP-BDT210 Blu Ray player, both units are DLNA certified, both on the same network, both wired, yet the Blu Ray Player can't see the DNS-320. the Blu Ray can see 2 DirecTV DVR's also wired and on the same network, and the DVR's can see the DNS-320 and play files from it.

I have the NAS's UPNP server enabled, the other server options, itunes, NFS, FTP, etc. servers disabled since I do not need those capabilities.

I can access the NAS's files from the web with no problems, so I think I've made all the correct selections in the NAS's management console, but not being very knowledgeable about networks, I am not sure if there's some setting I have overlooked.

The idea is to have the Blu Ray player play files from the NAS without any computers on the network being booted up. Any suggestions to help me resolve this would be very much appreciated.

I just got a new LG Blu ray player for the same purpose, to stream media from my 320 NAS. I stayed well away from the current Panasonic range as from reading up about them they have terrible media streaming problems. I know thats no help, but you may wanna start on a Panasonic forum or AV forum - your NAS box sounds like its set up fine.

I wanted to post this solution, in case anyone with a similar issue comes across it.  I restarted the DNS-320, and after the reboot, my Panasonic Blu Ray player recognized the drive as a DLNA device, and now connects with it and plays files fine.
