Problems again with correct time
« on: November 03, 2011, 06:23:43 AM »

I am using F/W 1.09 and thought I had finally found the steps needed to have the time reported correctly.  After using Tools/Time/Time Configuration and populating the variables correctly for Eastern Time(US & Canada), everything seemed to be functioning correctly.  Daylight Savings Time is not scheduled to end until 11/06/2011, but on my 323 units it has already changed.

Are units running 1.08 or 1.10b7 reporting the time correctly?

Hi,

Firmware 1.08 is one hour behind.

Yep - my 323 running FW1.09 also "fell back" 1 hr already instead of waiting until 02:00 on Nov 6th, even though I manually populated the fields saying DST wasn't over until Nov 6th.   ???

What about people running FW1.10b7 - is your time correct now?  How about after 02:00 on Nov 6th?

Does anyone have a workaround, or at least any helpful info?

TIA,
DH

I don't have any hints or workaround because the time on my units is correct, but then I'm in Europe and I assume this problem only appears in the US because you recently changed from what was the standard.

In fact I see I will have to get our programmer to dig into the program we use for world time and change the change over date for the US time zones.  Thanks.

Hi ivan,

In order to get the correct time, I have to select Atlantic Time Zone, when I am in the Eastern Time Zone of the USA.
