Do you have any cordless phone around the router? Also what do you have your channels set to? Try locking your wireless channels down rather than having it set to auto.
I used to have a 5.8 GHz. charger/handset near it but I lowered it down in the past so it is not that close anymore. My channels are locked in at 11 for the 2.4 GHz. band and 40 for the 5 GHz. band. Channel 40 is reported to be at 5.2 GHz. I was hoping that that wouldn't interfere with the 5.8 GHz. cordless phone system.
Once the constant wifi shut downs calmed down, I continued to experience continued authorization/deauthorization of the Linksys WGA600N on the 5 GHz. band. I got it to finally stop by rebooting the DirecTV receiver it's connected to and rerunning network set-up on the receiver. It's been fine since.
PS I've always seen this constant authorization/deauthorization with the Nintendo Wii (2.4 GHz band) while it does it's Wii Connect business. I assume it's normal. It's just annoying to see in the log.
If I were to guess, I think that the shareport activity overwhelmed it. I've also experienced something similar when I had many simultaneous connections with 'Vuze' recently. Although I read on the smallnetbuilders review that the DIR-825 should be able to handle 200 simultaneous connections, I'm not so sure. I've since lowered the max connections in Vuze to 100.
I've also taken to only run the shareport utility on the desktop PC hardwired to the router with the USB drive connected to it. I found that when the laptop has the shareport utility run, (even without the USB hard drive associated to it), it was getting disconnected from the network. I just use the Windows XP "Network Places" to connect to this shareport connected hard drive from the other computers.
