That seems to have done it! My wife is currently using the wifi on her netbook. :D

 My computer is still unable to connect, however...I think perhaps my wifi dongle is bad. It's 6 feet from the router with nothing between and I still only have average signal strength.  :-\

Ah ha, dongle. Can you connect a wired connection from your PC to the router and check?

Yep, wired seems to work fine now. The wife is having issues though...she has perfect signal strength but it's going back and forth between working normally and not letting her through to the web.

What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/Auto TPIK and AES.

Maybe someone can review your router settings with you using teamviewer.
