Okay, just got my Netgear N900 and setting it up was a breeze, at least if you know your way around the DIR-825. The router popped up at 70/10 Mbit right away, no need to force the WAN side to anything. On the WLAN side, the Ralink still connects at 65 Mbps, while the Broadcom connects at 104 Mbps, which is still odd, router is set to 217 Mbps for max.
What is the selling point for me tho; I just took a test torrent download, and it maxed out at 8.1 Mbps, whereas the DIR-825 totally froze around 3-4Mbps. If this is a weakness with the DIR-825 in general, or if it's mine that's fried I have no way of telling you.
