Even when wired your not getting the routers web page? What browser are you using? Explorer 8
Same thing happen with Opera or FF? What’s this??? Different browsers. Opera and FireFox.
Open a DOS command box and PING the ip address of the router and IP address of your network card. Any response back? Don’t know how to do that….Have a friend or family member who knows about computers who can help you with this?
How about if you disconnect the router from the ISP Modem and just connect to the router and review the routers web page on a wired connection? If after this your keep loosing connection, I suppose the router is bad, after swaping cables, connections. When did you get this router? Got the router last year but never been working good so I’m taking time to fix it now…. since I’m retired..
You could try a FW update and reload the code and see if it will clear this up. Already updated yesterday…
Did you follow the FW update sticky process listed here in the forums?
Any 3rd party security applications running? Only security is the one provided with windows and Microsoft…Can you disable these security features temporarily while testing with the router?
Teamviewer is a remote application that lets remote users view and mouse around on your computer while you are watching. I use it to help people on here with there router settings. Nice little program. Safe to use. I could probably review your router settings with you.
