The SecureSpot feature is not really a feature that's applicable to all markets globally. Thus, it would be great if D-Link can release 2 flavors of firmwares with each official version released - one with SecureSpot, one without SecureSpot.

Firmwares without SecureSpot often works better and less issues.

Just wait for beta to go final....you're a bit impatient. Running the SecureSpot enabled version 1.22b (but disabled the feature) right now and there  is no speed impact or extra issues compared to other firmwares without the feature... In the non-SecureSpot version the option is just REMmed in the source code...
