map drive/folder remotely over internet?
« on: January 20, 2012, 09:57:02 AM »

I have a DDNS set up and I can connect via FTP.  Is it possible to access the 323 more like a mapped network drive via an internet connection when I'm not connected directly to my home network?

Take a look at ftp explorer - I'm not certain if it will let you map the drive to a letter, but it certainly lets you explore the drive in a Windows explorer style interface.

The alternative is to use a VPN connection.

RAID1 is for disk redundancy - NOT data backup - don't confuse the two.
