I think the LCD is just like the DGL-4500 I have. It's kewl in all. Mainly for show. What counts is what the LCD is attached to.  ;)

Exactly. Thats what i was thinking. I dont see the router no where on ebay either. The 655 is all over ebay. I wouldnt mind having it as long as its the SAME as the 655...would just want it for show to. So far...my 655 has been perfect. All the bad reviews ive read about online i think is from people who don't know how to go into the router and setup and such.

Love it so far.

Ive never seen the DGL-4500 before. Just saw it on ebay. looks nice. Someone selling one for 39.99. Hmmmm. How much was it when it 1st came out new? The 655 was around 130. I like the Black color also. What other advantages does it have that the 655 doesnt have? Just wondering.

I paid $200 for my first one.  ;D IT's a great router man. Only thing about is that it doesn't support IPv6 and its only 2.4 or 5Ghz radio, not at the same time. Other then those 2 items, Been best router I've ever used.

What is ipv6 anyway? I keep hearing of it. Is it something someone NEEDS to have or????? Seems kinda equivalent to the 655. Maybe better. But when something is better....i need to know if that better will help ME. You know. Like...will i actually notice the better. Seems nice..ive always loved the 3 antenna look. Loving mine so far.

IPv6
If your ISP and ISP modem don't support IPv6 at the moment then don't worry about it.
Our current IPv4 addressing is not going away when IPv6 comes to town.  ::) You'll be fine either way.

So far still good. No drops for my 655. So loving it so far. Havent unplugged my laptop yet to see how far i can go with the signal. May do that soon. Not too important tho. My WBR i could go anywhere in my aparrtment plus next door to my sis. So this has to be better.

May downgrade the WBR firmware to 1.04. I think my nephews laptop always needs me to unplug it every once in a while. What causes that man.

I would down grade the WBR if that was working well before the upgrade.

Your right. I noticed..when i upgraded it to 1.05...and tried to connect my old xbox to lLIVE...it connected without me having to put all those ports back in that i dont remember anyway. I thought usually..when you upgrade firmware...it kinda resets your router and all your settings. I guess it didnt do that to the WBR. So im hoping...(And praying)..if i downgrade...the xbox settings in there will stay. Since it stayed when i upgraded it to 1.05.

You might just need to review the Gaming sticky in the forum for XBL.  :o

You can still use the sticky for the WBR settings if needed too.
