Sorry, for the DHCP IP Address range, it's a manual configuration.

Do I have to increase this range, or narrow it?

Any other suggestions?  Sometimes using torrent clients like u-torrent, would crash the net.

shouldn't have to do either. If your network is crashing then you need to visit the torrent clients as they are impacting the network. Not the router. You need to customize and configure the torrent clients so they don't crash the network.

Hi,

When I download from those megaupload sites, sometimes I get the 'limited access' yellow icon over my wireless bar.

I'm not sure why I have the limited access thing.  Any ideas?

But I've seen a great improvement.

Thanks!

Any body with help for this?

I sometimes run into the error in the above. ^^  I would download, and maybe overload the line, or whatever reason and I'll get the LIMITED ACCESS ICON.  It goes away when I reboot my PC.

Why does this happen?

IS there another way in which I can refresh my IP or whatever it is?

Thanks.

Have you performed a Factory reset yet and then try to download something with out configuring the router?
Is Traffic Shaping and QoS enabled when this occurs? Try OFF?
Is any other devices connected and doing anything when this occurs?

Hi,

I apologize for the delay.  When I download, say 4 files from diff't online hosts, like FILESERVE and MEDIA, or what not, my internet would sometimes crash.  Then, I would get that yellow hazard icon over my wireless bars.

I dunno what causes the break in connection.  Something doesn't seem right.  I've enabled whatever you've suggested in this thread.

I am conscious when my smart phone is within range.  Sometimes it'll swtich to the home network, and I dunno if that's enough to trigger a break in the connection.  It sucks.

What happens if you swap routers with your Cisco router, Does the problem follow then?

I don't have a cisco router at the moment.

When I carry my laptop from room to room, i get the dropped connectivity thing too, and the yellow hazard icon reappears.  SOmetimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

They are currently enabled.  Should I try off for them both?

Man, I had thought it was working, but then when I walked w/ my laptop to another room, I get the same message again.

Granted, I do have my utorrent constantly on.  Not sure if that's the cause, but I noticed my downloads are dropping at times and get reset.

The whole, limited access thing concerns me too, because the only way I can reconnect, is a reboot.  I'm guessing, a reboot of the IP too?

Seems like this could be a configuration/wifi issue here.  :-\
