I have neither a problem with Linux or Ext, but unfortunately MS provides very poor support for Ext to make the journey a painless one (if MS did support Ext I would format drives to it, and there wouldn't be a problem) Perhaps we can convince MS to support Ext better (but then again they don't even support NTFS all that well, with their excruciating "Read Only" messages every time you want to read a drive).

Below is a summary of everyone's input thus far. Please let me know if I over-generalized, misrepresented, or overlooked anyone's concerns and I'll refresh the list with updates. Recent additions/changes are highlighted in blue. Items addressed on the latest firmware are striked out.

• General - Dropbox support
• General - Generate exception message if an unsupported or incorrect firmware file upload is attempted

To complete the iSCSI support two things needs to be addressed.

1. NIC team - it should be work based on the industry standards.
2. MTU - it should be able to support jumbo frames, it's best practice in the industry to use Jumbo frames on iSCSI systems.

Something I have just discovered after a test, the notification email Username is limited to just 31 characters, this limit needs either increasing (63 at least), or removing altogether. You can't impose restrictions on an email system, that normally doesn't have restrictions. One of my email addresses is 35 characters long, and 25 characters of that are the @ and the domain name.
