DNS-320, DLNA and Samsung TV

Hi, all.
I have a problem with DNS-320 (With Fun-plug) and DLNA streaming to a Samsung TV (UE446D6500).
First of all it has to be DLNA. No SMB/NFS support for the TV without a dangerous hacking...

I tried some DLNA servers - the built in, Twonky, Media tomb and miniDLNA. All of them run somehow and no one can stream MKV files and subs.

Had anybody success with some DLNA + Samsung + MKV + Subs? With Fun-lug or Debian squeeze...
The last time I ever touched Linux was 15 years ago... So please explain slowly as for a complete noob :)

I can't stream  MKV + Subs to my LG Smart TV , but I can to my LG smart Blu ray player. The bluray player is much better with MKV files - It can change audio tracks, Subs and play back DTS with no issues - but the TV can't. £100 bluray player is better for this than my £900 TV.

I was going to say... if you tried DLNA the built in, Twonky, Mediatomb and miniDLNA. I think you better look at the TV.

Yes, I'm pretty sure the problem is in the TV, but...
I've red about some success stories of similar Samsung + miniDLNA/Twonky on regular Linux PCs. I'm just looking for a help setting them up on the NAS.

This isn't much help, but I ended up giving up on using my DNS-320 with a Samsung 37" D6100. Tried the built in DNLA server and Twonky without any luck with MKVs...

PS3 media server on my PC works just fine with it though (apart from with the recent 10 bit MKVs that the anime scene seem to be getting fond of...)

you could convert the files using a program such as Format Factory? All of my video is in AVI and MP4 and plays without a problem on my Samsung DNLA. However, I don't play them via my media server (Media Tomb) rather just by searching by folder by selecting the Dlink as my media device. Bit of a drag but if your data is networked (as opposed to on a USB) data sorting seems very difficult anyway......
