new firmware 1.01 errors out trying to upgrade firmeware

Did you unzip the firmware archive you downloaded before trying to install?

Of course, using xxx.bin file to upgrade.

everytime around 10-20% upload, the camera seems to reset and start rotating the camera and couple seconds after, it will show the error.

I tried two different 5222l, same result.

I had to ask that question. . . you'd be surprised how many users try to upload the archived file.

Although the zip file unpacked properly, did you try re-downloading the file?

Have any other DCS-5222L owners experienced issues uploading the latest firmware from mydlink.com/support?  ???

I tried twice, using Windows 7 64bits + Internet Explorer and Firefox.

I'll need validation/replication from at least one or two other DCS-5222L owners before I can escalate this to D-Link.

Has anyone else experienced issues updating this firmware update?

I am also unable to update to 1.01. It uploads to about 14% and then the camera resets. Otherwise I am really impressed with the camera. It is great and a big improvement over the 932L.
