I am facing same problem. Router was working fine with v2.07NA. On 13 January 2013, after flashing firmware v2.10NA, Router seem to have bricked. Unable to do recovery using firmware upgrade system page (http://192.168.0.1). Status bar shows waiting for http://192.168.0.1/cgi/index.... Nothing happens further.
When tried flashing with firmwares 2.07NA, OR 2.10NA it shows error as "Incorrect Hardware ID Image"
This message does not appear for versions older than 2.07NA.

Even tried router setup software of Dlink. It gives an error that Ethernet is unplugged, even if plugged in. (tried several working ethernet cables).

Tried calling local Dlink office in Dubai. No one picks the call. Very frustrating and dissapointed.

Select a different office, or region to call and ask for support.

I recommend for future FW upgrades, please come to the forums to get help and trouble shoot the problem before doing any upgrades. FW can not solve any problems that are configuration or environmental.

Also please use IE for doing any future upgrades. Chrome as been found to cause problems during upgrades.
FW Update Process

Also, if routers are working for you, theres no need to upgrade FW.

I'm in the same boat.  This is utter cr4p!
I can't believe D-link released firmware that's bricking routers!!

I have hardware Rev B and installed 2.10, now I have a brick.
Can't even get to the emergency recovery page to try loading another FW.

D-Link Tech support hasn't been helpful either.   NEVER AGAIN DLINK!!

How was the router updated? Using the onboard updater or do you follow this?
FW Update Process

This works well for me and others. Only reason for routers to become bricked is due to user error.
Was the router working before updating? What was the reason you updated?

Did you give this a try?
