DLINK DIR 600, problem with step of MAC adress
« on: February 11, 2013, 05:50:18 AM »

I put the installation CD. He came to a step required to choose the type of IPS. I chose Dinamyc IP, because it is at my cable modem. And mark the field "Clone MAC Address" and click on, but after loading throws that I have entered the wrong MAC address. I found the MAC address (cmd-ipconfig/all) and enrolled in 6 empty fields, but just not to cross this step. Can you help me, please?

Try using the routers web page wizard at 192.168.0.1.

Temporarily disable any 3rd party security SW while setting up the router.
Use IE or FF browsers to access the web page.

Why do you need to clone the mac address?
