I am using DIR 615 Hardware Version JX...  When I check for an update to FIRMWARE I get the following message, "Did not get information".

In the past when I clicked on there may be a firmware update on our site.  I was taken to http://support.dlink.com.tw/ which gave me an 401 error and now redirects me to the US d-link page.  Which doesn't even list Rev Jx as an option.

I am having  a lot of trouble with this router in regards to VPN and must have in China, and am hoping an update is available.

I am using    Firmware Version : 10.00   

I found the .tw support page and this is the firmware the list (nothing close to a verison Jx).

This Rev Jx model is not sold in the NA or EU region I believe.

well they finally have an update (Firmware Version : 10.01B04B) can't find any documentation about what the update has (since it is a 0.01B update I doubt it is much) but anything is better than what I have so giving it a try.

It really is amazing the strange troubles I have in China and since I know it is not my ISP I believe it is either the router or the building.  This is my second router (the first was a no name Chinese brand)...  But this d-link version J seems very "Chinese" forgotten about and left out by itself.

It might be time to import a real router from the good old US of A.

Be aware that D-Link routers are regional specific and importing a router from the NA region to the China region will probably be problematic as well. Each region is different and has different standards and requirements.
