Awful transfer speeds, Help!
« on: March 17, 2013, 07:12:02 AM »

Hi All,

I just got this new DNS-325 yesterday with two WD RED 1TB drives inside. All brand new. I've updated the firmware. All cables are Cat 5e.

Currently, it's connected via a Cisco 3825 router/modem but have tried the same setup using a DLink DIR-655 as well.

I have yet to exceed a transfer rate of 3 mb/s over wireless, from the USB port in the back or direct wired.

What the hell is going on? So confused...

Try using a external Gb Network switch between router and DNS/PC.
