Asymmetric VLAN and Tagged Ports
« on: May 02, 2013, 05:30:16 AM »

I have configured my DGS-1216T with asymmetric VLAN by following manual with examples and it works OK by now, but I'd like to expand my network with some vlan-aware units (switches, APs, NAS etc).

In all the examples I have found so far, the ports are all untagged members. Is it possible to include tagged member ports as well to transfer vlan-tagging to other units with asymetric vlan like in "ordinary" 802.1Q?

It is. Just tag the VLAN's you need in both ends:-)
