Can't get DNS-320L to work
« on: May 03, 2013, 01:18:32 PM »

Hey Guys

I just bought a DNS-320L A2 and wanted to install it. So I inserted a Seagate St1000dm003 an tried to work. After using the Setup Wizard it said thaht it couldn't find a Hard Disk. So I pulled the Hard Disk out and tried the other Slot. Nothing. Then i put it into my PC. It worked perfectly. Since i formated it in NTFS to make sure it works i deleted it again and put it back into the NAS. Nothing.

Then i thought. Maybe it need a firmware Update. So ich searched for a firmware and downloaded the 1.01b03 for World wide release and tried to update the NAS. After restarting i head back to look if the firmware update succeded and to my surprise it didn't. Still 1.01.

What can I do?

Edit:
After trying again. The harddrive now works but the firmware update doesn't

Good night.

The firmware update is listed as 1.01

The important thing is the date 09/14/2012

If you see that date well have updated the firmware.
