I'm disappointed guys. I intalled the new version but I seems too buggy.
1. I can't plan s.m.a.r.t. check:
- Management -> Disk Management -> S.M.A.R.T. Test -> S.M.A.R.T. Test:
When I check "Send Result By E-mail" it shows me the warning message "Failed Email setting. Please check your setting at System Management -> Email Alerts". But I set it right. Whent I click on the link "Email Alerts" in the warning message, it redirects me to Management -> System Management -> Notifications -> Email Settings. I check the setting and test it again. It shows me that it is ok and I receive the testing email. So I save it again, go to the S.M.A.R.T. menu again but there is the same error all the time. Additionally I checked "Send The S.M.A.R.T. Test Result" in Notification -> EventSettings but still the same.
- Management -> Disk Management -> S.M.A.R.T. Test -> S.M.A.R.T. Test:
I can't see the table with the list of hard drives, so I can't check them. It is not possible to create Schedule when the hard drives are not selected. It shows me error message "Please select a hard drive."
How can I set the S.M.A.R.T. check??
2. Management -> System status -> System Info -> Device Information:
Instead of temperature, there is the text "undefined".
Where can I check the temperature??
3. Management -> System status -> Hard Drive Info:
When I click on the Hard Drive Info button, the rotating circle appears and stayed there forever.
Where can I find Hard Drive Info information??
4. When I log in, I must do it two times becouse for the first time, it tells me I have wrong password.
It is not problem for me. I doesn't log in very often and if so, I can live with it.
There are not these issues int the previous version (1.01). When I found out the new version of the firmware doesn't work, I restart the setting to the default values. It doesn't help.
On the other hand, the firmware is noticeably qucker and I can see some additional options, which I appreciate guys. But it is not usable for me the NAS now. I need to set the S.M.A.R.T. check at least. Could you tell me, how to do it? If not I will return it back to the shop. I have it third day and it is not problem to get rid of it.
