Did the update to 1.02 (SW-Date: 03/29/2013) and it seems the GUI to be a bit faster.
But I miss the " My Music" -Link, I've seen in a screenshot around here.
Went something wrong or do I need glasses / brain reset?

The bugs I described happened to me when I use computer with Windows 7 and the browser Chrome. I tried it again on another computer with Windows XP and the browser Firefox and it worked very well. Then I tried it again with the first computer (W7 + Firefox) and same bugs. I guess it is browser issue - not depending on operating system but I'm not sure. If anyone reproduce these bugs, just try it again with Firefox (or IE). I can confirm issue 2, 3, 4 are ok. When it comes to issue 1, I checked only the list of hard drives. I didn't try to create Schedule with email notification. So I'm sorry guys. You did really good work. The firmware is significantly better. Looking forward to next version.

Next problems (THIS works like a charm...):

Updated FW to 1.02, refreshed music library.
- This lasts nearly the whole night. So, the problem with the nearly 100% usage of the CPU isn't solved yet.
You can't do anything with the NAS.
- Not any of my Android devices (all running Android 4.x) will recognice the uPnP content, neither the stock
DLNA player nor Bubble uPnP. Databrowser works fine, but there's no way to use the media via uPnP.
The server is found and shown, but not the content ("No such object") .
  Frustrating...

With 1.01 this worked perfect.
So I downloaded the FW 1.01 from the official Website, but I'm not able to install, the system stays under 1.02.

Is there any way to get back the DLNA functionality under 1.02 or to downgrade the system?

I'm glad everything is working for you. The web UI has always been a bit picky when it comes to browser version.

Yes, I did.
A second time in the morning,  same effect: nothing.

As mentioned in the referenced post (in red), refreshing a large media library can take a very long time.  The recommended approach is to refresh a small sub-directory containing a more reasonable number of files, which should demonstrate if/how the solution works for you.  From there, you can choose an incremental approach (refreshing a few directories at a time), or doing everything in one shot, which can take a very very long time.

Therefore I ran it overnight and while I was out of home.
It's another topic, I think.

Unfortunately, this can't solve my primary problem of the not reachable mediafiles.  >:(

Do You have any suggestions?

And: I can't find this "My Music" application...
_____________
Edit:

Next problem: There's no way to add an application to the favourites.
Another one: No way to find the way back to the home from "My Photos"...

_____________

In summary I'd give FW 1.01 a second chance (if I knew, how to downgrade...) or return the DNS and buy another system.

It's unbelievable to me, that a buggy FW like this comes to the users.

Edit N°2: Don't ask me why, the NAS WORKS, the My-Music-Application is shown, the uPnP works.

Workaround: Downgrade on 1.01, full reset the system and update again.

I'm glad everything finally worked itself out.  ;)

I'm too.

Finally I'm shure, this was not the last problem to solve...  8)

______________

Edit:

It seems, I was right withe "next problems to come" prediction.

Copied another bunch of music to the NAS. The copy process was fine, allthough it blocked any other action because of the processor usage.
Looking for the copied songs in the morning I recognized, that they are not in the database.

Do I really have to refresh the database with every single copied file??

This would mean to have a non-reacting NAS for hours, everytime when added one title.
If this is the truth, the DNS-320l is not usable for my purposes.

Anyone around here, who knows something about that case?

Edit 2:

Recognized the problem, that after refreshing the media database a restart is neede to make the NAS visible for other devices.
Anyone around with the same?

after upgrading... none of my devices see the media stored on DNS-320L
(previous was ok)
I've focused on my blu-ray player LG BP220 - it's connected to my TV (& played films/photos)

I've tried to refresh, to delete & recreate shares ...many times
nothing helped

Is it any other possibility to reinitilizie DNS without losing accounts & data stored on HDDs?

Performing a factory reset will clear all user settings, but should not impact stored data or HDD configuration.  You can save a "Configuration File" which will retain all your settings for restoration.  Performing a factory reset will retain the current FW version.

** Always create a backup of your data before performing this procedure (although there should be no impact).
