I have been having an off and on connection problem with certain wireless devices to my DIR-655 rev B 2.07NA. Wired seems to work all the time. Certain wireless devices, particularly Windows 7 machines, are sometimes not able to connect to the wireless network, which is set up as WPA2, AES. I noticed that I am usually able to connect to the guest network, which I set up as Auto, TKIP or AES. I changed my main wireless to Auto, TKIP or AES and the problem seems to have gone away.
Does this make sense?
Am I sacrificing anything, particularly security-wise, by going this route?
Thanks,
David
