Recently we pulled a DFL-210 out of storage and placed it into operation.

We have a dirty Internet connection that does not touch our actual production network.

We have a public IP for it.

We stood up a CentOS sever with a BBS software package on the DMZ port.

The BBS is up and can be hit from outside, so the rules for allowing net access from outside appear to be working.

The web developer wants to use VNC to access the BBS operating system to make changes and such.

He is able to use VNC and can see the operating system, but can not use the browser to get back out for updates/software.  No internet access going out from the OS.

What are the rules to allow him to do this?  I've looked a good many places on the net and nothing seems to work or match this scenario.

I think it has to do with DNS relay, but I'm lost as to how to set ip up correctly.

I will not be back in front of the equipment for a few days

any help would be greatly appreciated.
