New user. Some questions!
« on: September 27, 2013, 11:46:15 AM »

Hi,
Excuse me if I do something wrong, I'm new here as you can see.
I recently got my DNS-320 (Rev B1). Everything seems to work well by now, but I don't understand why the p2p folder seems to be out of the volume (in the Windows explorer) while it doesn't happen when you use the web interface. Is there any option to change that?

I also spent some time looking for a firmware upgrade until I read that there is no upgrade for the rev B. I'm right? Is the B default firmware as good as the most recent A firmware?

Thanks!

The DNS-320 treats the P2P volume as a separate logical HDD from Volume_1, so the P2P volume and Volume_1 will appear as separate HDDs in Windows Explorer. There is no option to change this configuration.

The Rev B hardware version is on a separate code line from Rev A. Since Rev B is relatively new, the v1.0 firmware contains many of the fixes and features of the newer Rev A firmware versions. From my understanding a Rev B firmware version is undergoing QA testing, but I don't have an ETA for release.
