Hi there, I'm wondering if some kind souls could help me with some noob questions. I have my 320 up and running but wanted to ensure that I set about configuring it correctly from the start.

Currently my NAS is set-up and running. I have an external HD with audio and movie files on that I want to copy the HD entirety on to the NAS and have already moved some files over and can access them both via IE (internally on my network) and via DLINK app on iphone/ipad.

Questions:
1.  Within my NAS setup I see three types of folder. my files, my music and photos. Do I need to manually add files to each of these categories or can I just add them and the NAS will assign to the respective folders? Also within my files, I have sub-sections of media, music, photo and video. Will files appear in here or at the NAS folder level of files, music and photos
2. Is there anything that will outline what formats the NAS supports? I want to ensure that when copying files over, they're suitable to pick up track names, album names, artist names etc
3. What are the benefits and how do I link it to iTunes?
4. I have circa 100GB of files on the NAS already, but when using the dLINK apps, it only shows the first few artists when I am displaying by album. ie for albums beginning with 'D' it will only show the first few artists (A's and B's) and not allow me to find an album beginning with D by an artist beginning with say T.
5. How can I configure the NAS and presumably my router to allow me to access it outside of my own network, eg when at work?
6. It's a dual bay NAS. How do I configure it to back itself up to the other bay incase one fails, assuming that this is good practice for files?
7. Probably moreso a question unique to the PS3 but it can only see a few files and takes an eternity to display the full list of audio files, is there a way to let it see everything in one go for easy scrolling and selection?
8. How can I add the NAS so it's visible in my computer for easier file management rather than the NAS interface via the IP address in IE?

Some of these may be fairly standard questions for a noob but any links to help me out or answers would be greatly appreciated as I want to get the set-up right from the start. Anything else to consider? Happy to explain or give people more info if it helps.
