Is my DNS-325 dead?
« on: October 26, 2013, 09:00:06 AM »

Bonjour,

I have a problem with my DNS-325. I unplugged it by mistake and since then, I can't start it. When I unplugged it there were no on-going transfer but now impossible to start it. When I press the button nothing at all happens. Would there be a kind of a safety mode or so ? Any idea ? Dead ?

Thanks

These may be some obvious things to try, but we have to go down the list to be thorough...

  • Did you try unseating the power cord and reconnecting it to the back of the DNS-325?
  • Did you try a different power strip? (perhaps a fuse tripped)
  • Are you sure you're pressing the power button on the face of the unit? (the circle icon)
  • Do any lights come on when the unit is powered up?
  • Does any noise come from the unit?
