Hello,

I recently started playing my XBox 360 and noticed my NAT is 'moderate'. I tried finding some help regarding this, because from what I understood the DGL-5500 is Open NAT out of box.

I decided to upgrade my firmware to the latest 1.11B03, and during that process, I factory reset the router, per the firmware installation instructions, twice. All I did was setup a password for the Wireless connections, and everything else is default.

I have my XBox 360 plugged into the router directly. We have one more XBox 360 in the house that is connected to a Network Bridge, not sure how that one's NAT is and is really irrelevant.

Does anyone have any ideas for this? It's frustrating to say the least, as I have issues connecting to friends, games etc.

Trying resetting the Xbox 360 Network Settings to default.

1. Press the Guide Button on your controller, go to Settings
2. Select System Settings then Network Settings
3. Select Wired Network or your wireless network when displayed
4. Select Configure Network then Additional Settings tab
5. Select Restore to Factory Defaults then confirm when prompted.

Hope this helps!  This procedure has solved my issues when NAT changes to MODERATE or STRICT.

Was curious if you or anyone else tried setting the MTU value listed here and tested for any XBOX console?
