Unable to install NCS plug-in comclictrl
« on: November 16, 2013, 02:21:06 PM »

comcrictrl will not install.  About half way thru install it tells me to shutdown Chrome, which I do, but will not finish the install.  Keeps telling me to shutdown Chrome.

If I am not mistaken, Chrome may still be running in the background even if you close all the windows.

Assuming you're using Windows, check your system tray (bottom right of taskbar) to see if there is a little Chrome icon.  If there is, right click on it, click exit and try again.

Or, you can close it using the Task Manager.

Thanx

I went the task manager route and saw chrome listed under background processes.  I did an end task and tried reloading installcamclictrl.  The file completed install and solved my problem.

Thanx again
