Wake on Power (Up/On)
« on: November 17, 2013, 02:07:05 PM »

Hi there!

I understand that there's no possibility to realize Wake on Lan on the DNS 325. But is it possible to let it start whenever I give it power?
My plan is to start my NAS with a radio-controlled power socket and shut it down with a script. I already managed the last part (via a small wget script), but it just doesn't want to boot before I push the power button :/

I already enabled power recovery in the settings, but it's not working after a normal ("planned") shutdown. And I wouldn't like to just cut off the power to shut it down just so I can boot it comfortably.

Any ideas?

P.S. English is not my native language, so please forgive me if I didn't manage to use the correct technical terms.
