I play WOW and I am wireless. I get about 200ms when playing and when I play EQ2 I get about 100-150MS. Everything is default. My adapter on my desktop is linksys. I also have comcast. I also have an acer laptop that I will play on also and get the same as my desktop. I can be down stairs and nothing changes. I do have 1.21B installed on Hardware A4 and I have yet to have any issues. I also have DNS Rely turned off and I am using OpenDNS.  I am getting a lot of errors on the wireless though. Here are the Error count : 270829 The router was reset 2 days ago due to a power outage. So thats the number or errors in a  two day period.

Luckily the errored frames are resent. But while gaming this can be a nuisance. That's why gaming through wireless cause issues.

That is way too many errors taking place in such a short amount of time. May I suggest trying other wireless channels? Placement of the router and the devices connecting to it will also play a role in keeping errors to a minimum.

It’s not that wireless is bad for gaming, it’s many are in environments bad for wireless gaming.
