DNS-323 and xbox360
« on: June 11, 2009, 11:03:17 PM »

Hi,

I have all my media on my DNS-323, I can stream avi files straight to my xbox360 navigating through "Video Library".

Is there anyway of utilising "Media Center" function in my xbox360 just using my 323 without having to have a laptop in between?

Hope this makes sense!

Thanks

The XBox360 does not have a Media Center Function without the PC running Windows Media Center present. You are talking about using the MCE Extender function in the XBox im assuming.

If you are just talking about the Media Player function...Yes. Just make sure to enable the UPnP AV Media server on the DNS-323. If will show up under videos on the XBox.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Is there anyway of getting the artwork to show up?

Are you referring to the album art when playing mp3's or the whole MCE interface as when connected in Extender mode?

The movie artwork, when selecting a video under "Video Library".
