Something really strange is going on now my dgl-4500 has been up 5 days 14 hrs this round and is still working.  This is the first time ever on 1.21b this has happened.

A1 and I just received the replacement a2 today but its still in the box.  I never opened it.

Had to restart mine yesterday.
All connectivity down.

Also been noticing my logs are fulling up faster then before.
I have yet to find the time to trouble shoot .

Well it's been 6 days and 9hrs so far and my router is still up.  The only difference is that my son has been away so only my pc has put traffic on the router for the majority of this time.  I'm thinking about just keeping it hooked up until it crashes to see how long it will last.  This is very strange indeed especially after all of the problems I've had before this particular run.

4 day uptime with disabled dns-relay here ... now sending files via icq and downloading some  stuff with 20 connections got it down... files stopped downloading, upload aborted, general slowdown

 if you could try NOT to reboot the router or make any changes.. Would like to see how long it will go for. Generate traffic like normal and when your son gets back ask him to do what he does on your network

Yeah I'd already decided to do that.  I had the new one in my hands ealier and just put it back into the box.  I'm gonna keep her running until she croaks.  Nevertheless I'm curious as to why it is still running, 6 days 14hrs now when it never has done this before with any post 1.2x firmware.

Firmware Version : 1.21NA,  2009/06/02
It's the first 1.21 beta and for some strange reason it's actually working for me now.  It did not work prior to this particular run and would crap out on the 4th day if not before each and every time.  It took me by surprise when I checked the status page and saw just how long it has been running this time.  Did all of the planets line up just right or did I hold my mouth in the right position this time?  Like I've already stated I'm going to let this run its course before I install the new a2 unit.

I have not yet updated to the 1.21b02 firmware (about to); still on 1.20, and getting the freezes every 24 hours or so).  However, I wanted to point out that when the internet drops / router locks-up, and I goto the device itself and cycle through the options on the led screen with the physical buttons, it will reboot automatically when I cycle to the date/time section; figured I would share that symptom as hopefully it may lead to the root of the problem.  Model is A1.
