I've also noticed that with this fw that a lot of lan tx packets are dropped.

yep a few times when it changed (due to aome reason i don't know) the WLAN channels ...

 My Router has experienced these auto resets on several occasions also!

This is about 3 hours after reboot. I have no idea why I'm seeing so many LAN errors and Dropped packets.

I have another brand router I have been using and after 48 hours of it being in use, there were 0 dropped packets or LAN errors. Wireless had a few errors, but it was less then 20.

Please get this fixed guys.

Yes.  When I'm experiencing the slow down and I use the OLED screen and move around inside of it to the clock and logs sections it will automatically shut itself off and reboot.  This only occurs when the logs report that it starts rejecting packets and I notice web pages slow or failing to load.  Give it a try next time you see your router slow down and see if it reboots itself while moving around inside the OLED screen.

could anyone try and tell me if the next firmware will fix this router the A1
or we will have to go and replace the entire device?

The router just died after 10 days uptime.
It basically just died eventhough it's said online, but you just can't connect to it.
Power cycle is the only way to do restore it back.

Hell my router died this time after only a day of uptime.  I've noticed that when I dl large files but stay connected it will slow down but still run.  Once I shut my pc down the router will stop responding and requires a reboot.  This is way past getting old and shame on d-link for not properly testing the fw before releasing it.  D-link should either trade us for new revised hardware or give us refunds for the router.

Ok, 5 minutes after reboot only 2 wire devices hooked up at this time. A printer and a wireless bridge hooked up to my TV. Neither are being used.

Well folks had to roll back to fw 1.20, 1.21 was just to unstable and unreliable. at this point I am left speechless except for a few expletives deleted that come spontaneously. been cruising different sites looking for another router. This really sucks
