Is this the only device that does this?
What iOS are you using?

SO wired PC is failing as well?

Have you power cycled all the apple devices?

Did you follow this when you installed the FW?

No, I did not follow that process, but I shouldn't have to.... I get that you're trying to help, but this is a retail router, not something only an IT specialist can setup. I shouldn't have to jump through all these hoops to get a simple router to perform AS ADVERTISED..... There is ZERO chance of me shutting everything down that wirelessly links to my router.... Thermostats.... Ip cameras.... Exercise equipment..... Xbox. Ps4. The list goes on and on. Speaking of which..... In your process to flash the router... #9..... How many reservations are we allowed to have now? I stopped reserving ip's with the 4500 and now 5500 cuz there were never enough.

Well, you could leave the Wifi clients going and not set up the SSIDs on the router until the testing is over then set up SSIDS and PWs as a simple solution to that sir.  ::)

Overall the process should be followed and allow the router to fully setup. Yes I can understand the frustration that it should just work however given the new processes for SB and the improvements Iv'e seen, it's working much better than before and given this process I found, it allows the router to set up SB values and settle in. Since doing this process, my router has been stable and working great for me and others. I'm actually more satisfied now with it and happy that it's reached this point. Yes I agree that it's not been as we had hoped since it's release however it's come a long ways now and it working well.

I believe there are still limits on the reservation side however I haven't had a chance to test that since I don't think I have that many. Maybe you can test this. I know I always recommend reserving IP addresses for ALL devcies however when it comes to these home class routers with this limiation and users having more than 25 devices, I recommend that users off load the reservations and convert the non priority or lower used devcies to Static IPs, devcies like, printers, NAS, controllers, cell phones, Pads, wired APs or any PC that doesn't need a whole lot of bandwidth or router mangement. Set ALL off those or as many of those devcies to static. This will help in gain some Reservation space for those devices that need bandwidth and router management and SB. Set the Static IP devcies out side of the DCHP pool range, 192.168.0.2 thru .99 or .200 thru .254. Leaving the default DHCP pool range for Reservations.

Give the suggestion and process a try, I think you'll find that your router will become more stable. Yes it's takes a bit longer to do it this way however the router is working well after using this process.

I noticed a post about not be able to login.
I have had this issue.
Solution completely disconnect the Ethernet cord from modem and router.
Power cycle both.
 Ethernet to modem first.
It seems when the modem is connected to the router and you do certain things such as reserve an IP it locks you out.
The overall solution is to disconnect the modem while doing some things.
Make sure to unplug the Ethernet from both and reset your modem before reconnecting to router.

Also would like to add normally I use manual speed numbers in streamboost.
I decided to try Abe with the new fw.
It has given me an overall better connection and dropped my ping on Xbox one by a bit!!
Streamboost also is seeing apps way better than before!
Overall the new fw is really an improvement except for the duplicate stuff.
Witch I'm sure if we can't fix it dlink will in the next beta.
I think given a bit more time and user feedback this gaming router will be the best out there. For gaming.
It's really close streamboost does help alot with lag.

Has dlink given you any more info on that?

What browser are you using when you see this UI hang? What OS platform are you using?
Is Media Server enabled?

Let us know if this happens again.

Glad the router is working better for you overall.

Win7 32
FF but I also tried IE and chrome.
Yes media server is on.

It only happens to me when modem is connected.
I had it happen reserving ips and saving , while rebooting the router, rebooting the modem while connected to router, and when disconnecting Ethernet cable from modem to router plugging back in without modem reboot

Don't know if it helps but I also noticed while in router looking at your status page while rebooting the modem connected to router the IP address for the modem shows up as 192.168.0.10 for a split second.(seems to be where it's hitching? )

Are you still using the Motorola sbv6220 modem?  ???

Great, I just reproduced this issue I believe. I logged in with my Mac Mini using Safari and noticed I had 5 devices that were not reserved so I reserved them, edited the IP for a different IP address, Saved settings and rebooted. Soon as I hit my bookmark for the router after the time ran out, Safari failed to connect to the routers web page. I saw I still had an IP address however no internet.  ??? I unplugged the ISP modem cable then back in. Still no internet. I shut off the LAN adapter on the Mac Mini then back on, still no internet. I had to power cycle the router to get internet back.

I disabled Media Server as it was enabled however I'm not using it.

Can users disable Media Server then test to see if the router hangs when doing reservations please?

I've forwarded this on to D-Link for review.

Ah kewl, Ok, I was wondering if you still had the old modem. I have the SB 6180. Let us know if disabling Media Server does anything to effect the hang. I remember something similar to this last year.

Other than this hang and the dupe icons, my router has been working well. No issues and gaming has been good. Speeds are being detected by SB and ABE correctly and to speed.

Just FYI, I haven't seen any router or UI hang issues since turning OFF Media Server. I did a couple of IP reservations yesterday, saved and rebooted. Router UI came back and was able to log in. Please let us know if anyone else can test with MS disabled and there results. I have forwarded this on to D-Link.

Thank you.

reset everything on the router today, followed the update process (except for the Streamboost stuff since that was going for over 60 minutes and wasn't finishing so i gave up on it and just put in a few megs above my service)

Not having the log on issues anymore, that's a major plus.

Speeds seem a little low (I used the same numbers that i had previously with streamboost) but that could just be a cable company issue, will do more speed tests later

one issue I am having that is quite frustrating, I have had settings in for a virtual server for a VPN server I have set up using my laptop (Laptop is the host of the vpn for my cell phone to connect to remotely) and I am no longer able to connect from my cell phone.  I am 100% sure the settings are the same as I took a picture of the settings page before restoring and updating the firmware.  Could anything have changed firmware wise that would be interfering?
