Hi people,

My problem is that my small business use of DNS320 requires me to limit access to certain folders.

I know how creating users and groups works, and access right management lets me limit access through FTP, that works fine.

But still, how can I limit access to certain users on my LAN? ALL PC connected to our LAN sees the network drive immediatly, regardless of its username.

Please help me out, thanks in advance.

It sounds as if you have given all access to the root directory rather than assigning users to specific directories.  You can give one user admin rights to the root directory, just make sure you have a good password assigned, that way if you can't hide it no one will be able to access it.

Edit to add:  Sorry I can't be more specific, I assume you have a windows network and we don't use windows here.

Thanks, it worked.

I only shared certain folders, not the whole drive, and then restricted access for specific folders. Now these denied fodlers are visible, but network asks password to access them, and denied people will be denied.
