Access control issue
« on: August 02, 2014, 05:50:50 PM »

Hi,
I'm trying to schedule an access control in my d-link router, I successfully done it but it only blocks the websites in chrome, I can still access them via firefox and explorer. How can this be? Can someone help me?

I did look it up more closely and I found that it's only facebook.com that doesn't want to be block in firefox and explorer. Why is facebook only blockable in chrome? Is it because chrome is my default browser?

Link>Welcome!
What model router do you have?

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
  • Has a Factory Reset been performed?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

How do you have it set up for access control? Please give details or captures...

This FW belongs to Videotron, you'll need to phone contact Videotron in regards to help and information for this. FW versions differ from D-Links OEM FW.
